Yesterday, the bf and i were queuing at Guardian Citylink to get some chocolates when this happened:
Man holding a box of meds, urgently asking the lady in queue behind us whether he could go first cause someone needs the meds (we were halfway thru the payment)
LADY was holding onto a coke bottle, and after we were done with our payment, the LADY paid instead of letting him go first.
I was astonished.
So much for consideration in Singapore, and the Kindness week that just passed.
Then the bf, seeing how peeved i was, told me that since it irritated me so much, i should have stepped in and told the lady off.
I don't think it was my place to, but yeah, So much for consideration from me i guess.
just feel like, i'm also the next citizen, no action talk only.
i felt a bit ashamed of myself :(
What would YOU have done?
