Although we had our bumps this weekend, baby, I'm still happy with what we have.

I like staying in on Sunday afternoons, nua-ing with the boy at home because:

1. Avoid crowds out there

2. Spend ME time with us. Confusing? Well, simply put, you get to do what you want to do, WITH the company of your +Ones. You are doing what you want, on your own. Just not by yourself. Right? So those times when you miss him, or when you just want noise other than your iTunes playlist singing, you get, YES! your dear +One! (: SCORE!

3. Spirit of Sharing: Right back at 2. Itching to share and laugh over something you found online? Well, turn to your Right (or left) and you both can enjoy the joke,  together.

4. Simply loving.

5. Feel of what it's like if you get married with your +Ones.

5 absolultey random reasons of why I do what I do on Sundays. :D

Just got back from Hong Kong last Saturday evening. Had a farewell cum meet up bbq that evening after touching down.
Spent time with the boy on Sunday and fell victim to Gastric Flu on Monday morning. And yes, Monday was my Leave day. I was on leave and I fell sick. I had a perpetual date with the toilet and bin then, and boy was that memorable :S

OKAY. So, besides the mundane musings of my life, and that I still love my darling boy (who was sweet enough to accompany me to the docs, made sure i took meds on Monday. who sent me home from town after I was done with dinner with my colleagues), I just want to exclaim that,
I'm a make-up-holic - or to be.

I'm in love with the brand NARS . And very almost wanted to own the whole counter back in Hong Kong.

So far, I am a proud owner of NARS Orgasm and Angelika blush, China Blue single eyeshadow, and Nail polish in Saratoga (Complimentary - not complaining) and I love love love all of them.

Mac  Select Moisture Cover is my most recent faved concealor.

Sigh, the boy dislikes the fact that i spend so much on branded cosmetics - but i say NAY! from now on, I'll only buy good quality cosmetics. I like them more, I use them more, they last longer and the color pay-off is sooooo much better. So, I'll save up, and buy instead of spending small amounts accummulatively here and there.
And of course, heh, vouchers I got earlier certainly help lay off loads of the spending heat. So, less  guilt I say! :D
(and boyfriend, firm i say to this! )

and we have a couple more minutes to Monday again;

I had a really wonderful time spent with the boy (again) this weekend. Watched All Blacks match at his place yester-afternoon, then headed down to SAM for the Night Festival 2010. Well, must say despite the crowd and the heat, we saw some nice things, and had a fairly good experience before heading home. While I went with the girls (candice, lorraine & lyds) on Friday, going with the boy was a different experience. Something to look forward to in 2011!

Sunday was just lazing around, working on our own laptops, but being next to each other throughout the day. It was rainy cool and nice.

heh, like regi said, Sundays should be spent this way.

My sister's coastal scents 88 colors warm palette: and I took the liberty to swatch it next to EDM's earlier. Just some selected colors that i thought were pretty similar:



L-R coast scents and EDM swatches (last  3 being Cypress, Angel's Trumpet & In the Garden)



This one is with flash. I THINK. the color's a bit faded; but the color and IMO, the pigmentation was awesome (:



And the last bits, I tried comparing between NYX, Coastal scents  & EDM.
L-R
First 3 are NYX eyeshadows: Exotic Green, Black Pearl & Space
followed by 3 Coastal scents and the last 3 being EDM eyeshadows.

NYX requires more product to reflect it's true color, to be bolder.

Coastal scents & EDM are alot more pigmented. Difference between Coastal Scents & EDM would be the latter's alot more shimmery and full of glitter. I personally like both, and prefer EDM just cause I am a fan of glitter and shimmer. heh (:

ANYWAYS, enough of make up.
I had a wonderful weekend, long too. Mostly spent nua-ing with the boyfriend, lazing about, watching loads of telly and an incredible but unproductive trip to Fort Canning.
